HA has a built-in invoicing feature within the Placements Module that allows users to generate and email an invoice to themselves or view within HA and admins have the ability to send invoices to clients or other external users directly from the placement with HA.



The Invoice Details section of the Placements Module contains all of the information needed to populate the invoice.  The Show On Invoice part of this section gives admins/users the ability to determine what details should be included on the invoice.  For example, some clients request that the candidate's salary not show on the invoice for privacy reasons--turning that option off hides it on the generated invoice.





Editing the Invoice Details

If changes need to be made to the Invoice Details before sending an invoice, simply click on the Edit Invoice icon, as shown in the figure below.



When you click on this icon, the section will change to show the form fields used to populate the invoice, as shown below.  The Edit Invoice icon changes to a Save Invoice Details icon and the Cancel Editing Details icon, as pointed out in the figure.  If you do not need to make any changes after clicking the Edit icon, or you want to cancel your changes, simply click the Cancel icon to return back to the other screen.  To save your changes, click the Save icon.  When the form is updated, and emails are turned on, an automatic email is sent out to all parties involved in the placement and the Invoice Admin(s) letting them know the Invoice Details have been updated.






Editing from the Invoice Preview

The Invoice Details can also be edited directly in the Invoice Preview, as shown below.  The form is identical but the save button is located at the bottom of the modal.



Clicking the Cancel Editing Details button will bring you back to the PDF preview of the invoice.  Saving the invoice details form will submit your changes and bring you back to the placement screen.  You will then have to re-open the preview to see your changes.
