The Email Invoice to Me icon is a simple way for users to receive an emailed PDF version of the invoice for the selected placement. HA will regenerate the invoice first, making sure everything is up-to-date, and then it will attach the PDF invoice to an email and send it to the currently logged-in user.
Once the invoice has been emailed to a user it can be send to anyone from there. Administrators can turn this off by disabling invoice emails.
The Placement Log will show that the invoice has been emailed to the user, as pointed out in the figure below.
