The Global Settings page allows admins to set the primary settings for HA.  There are two tabs on this page: Global Settings and Email Configuration.



  • Pacesetter Goal
    This setting determines the goal required for the Pacesetter Leaderboard
  • Monthly Billing Goal
    This setting is used to display a goal for monthly billing on the Comparison chart of the Summary page.
  • Monthly Pacesetter Track
    The value of this setting is used to show what users are on track for achieving Pacesetter status.  Typically this is the Pacesetter Goal value divided by 12 but it can be set separately to allow flexibility for admins.
  • Candidate Source Field
    This setting determines what field HA uses to show the source of candidates for placements and the Hot Sheet Report.  The value should match the name of the custom field in PCR exactly.  
  • Default Timezone
    This setting allows admins to tell HA what timezone to use throughout the application.  Many of the pages rely on the timezone setting including the Chipboard.  For example, the chipboard refreshes at midnight of the timezone set here.
  • RingCentral Time Difference
    For tenants that use the RC API, this setting tells HA how many hours to offset from UTC/GMT for the RingCentral API.  The call logs in the RC API are all stored in UTC so in order to get valid call log results we have to tell RC the timeframe we want and offset from UTC.
  • Leaderboards User Display
    The last two options in the figure above tell HA how to display users on the Leaderboards and Pacesetter Leaderboard.  The defaults are Picture & Full Name and Picture Only, respectively.

  


  • Monthly Close Date
    This setting tells HA when to close out each calendar month to prevent users from making changes to placements.  In addition, any fall offs or changes to placements by admins added after this date each month will be added to the current calendar month.  The default is 10.
  • Position Expire Days
    The option selected for this setting tells HA when to automatically expire positions that are still showing as open in HA.  For PCR API tenants, this is important because the automatic expiration of positions in PCR will not trigger an update of the position in HA.
  • Invoice Request Form Email
    This setting is for a future update and currently does not have any affect on a module or feature of HA.
  • Placements Notification Email
    The last two settings are for placement notification emails.  Admins can specify up to 2 email addresses that should receive placement notification emails.  If more than two are required it is recommended to use a group or distribution list within your email system.



Emails Configuration

The Emails configuration tab is used to set the global options for the email notifications within HA.  Please note that some emails, like contests and invoices, have their own configuration settings elsewhere.  However, this tab allows admins to turn ALL emails off by simply setting Email Notifications Feature to off.  By default, all notification emails are set to ON.



By default, all of the configuration settings on this tab are blank.  If left that way, notification emails will use the HA default settings and emails will be sent from no-reply@hireanalytix.com.  This tab allows admins to configure a different email address and mail server from which HA should send notification emails.



The bottom portion of the Emails Configuration tab gives admins the ability to set a global footer message for ALL notification emails and choose the format of the subject lines for the email notifications.
