A Fee Adjustment must be made on a placement anytime there is a change in the original fee, whether positive or negative.  To add an adjusted fee to HA, go to the original placement and click on the Actions tab.  Then, change the Fee Adjustment slider to ON, as shown in the figure below.



Enter the new fee amount in the Adjusted Fee field.  The Fee Change field will automatically calculate the difference in the fee so that you can verify that the Adjusted Fee is correct.  The original fee and Adjustment Date cannot be changed.  


Last, enter the reason for the fee adjustment.  You can then save the fee adjustment to HA.  A new, adjusted fee placement will be created and associated with the original placement and a confirmation email will be sent out.
