Chipboard

  • Chip Details
    The details feature of the Chipboard module has received a major upgrade so that it is now a lot more functional and interactive.  You can now sort the interview, position and placement details and you can also click-through the various details, as pointed out in red in the figure below.  In addition, buttons have been added that allow for printing, downloading a PDF and downloading an Excel file of the details displayed, as pointed out in purple in the figure below.  

    Prior to this update, the details area was very simple and did not allow for sorting or click-through capabilities.

  • Effort Score Breakdown
    The Effort Score Breakdown area has been updated a bit to make it more user-friendly.  The Close button now looks like the other buttons in HA and we have moved the "Effort Score Home" link to a button on the left, as pointed out in purple in the figure below.  In addition, when clicking on a score number, pointed out in orange in the figure below, the details for that score will now open in a modal instead of the old 'fancybox' window.  This brings the feature up-to-date with other parts of HA.

Reports

  • Activities Report
    This report has been updated so that it can now be used to see daily activities for the selected user(s).  A date picker accordion element has been added to the report, as pointed out in red in the figure below.  In addition, the Group Activities By dropdown has been updated with a Daily option, which is the default.  When this is changed to something other than Daily, the date picker is replaced with a month/year select option, which is what limited the functionality of the previous version of this report.


  • Cash Out Report
    This report has been updated to have a better layout and the report data also has visible click-through links to drill down to the candidate, placement, company and/or position.  Prior to this update, the layout was often messed up on smaller screens and the grouping dropdown was inconsistent with the layout of other reports in HA.

  • Effort Scores Report 
    This report has been updated and is now fully-functional.  It was disabled several updates ago because it was completely broken and needed to be reworked as it is one of the oldest reports in HA.  The report generates automatically based on the current date but you can choose a previous date and click Generate Report to view the data for that particular timeframe.


Companies

  • This module has received a design update that will make it easier to expand upon in the future and a better user experience now.  It has been updated to work with the new Retainers feature, mentioned below.

  • Retainers - NEW
    This is a brand new feature with this update and is one of our few cross-module features. However, we're grouping this into the Companies module because this feature is specific to a company in HA.



Positions

  • Split Positions
    This feature has been updated to allow for automatic splits on all activity related to a specific position.  As pointed out in the figure below, to enable this, simply turn Automatic Splits ON when setting up splits for a position.  When this is enabled, all activity from interviews to placements are automatically split based on the parameters defined here.  Of course, after an interview has been created and split out, those can be changed.


  • Interviews and Resumes Presented
    This section of the position module has been updated to support the new Automatic Splits feature.  Prior to this update, all interviews and resumes had to be split out individually.  Now, splits are done based on the candidate, therefore, the split icon has been removed from the Interviews area and is only available on presented candidates.  Admins, however, can still delete these individually.


  • Position Details
    Some minor changes have been made to the position details feature to make the user experience better. As pointed out in the figure below, placeholders have been added for instances where the API is being queried in real-time. Prior to this update, these areas were simply empty or had spinners / loading images. Placeholders are more relevant since those components have already loaded.



Placements

  • Placement Split Details
    This feature has been updated to match the user interface of the split feature of the Positions module.  For example, when a split is saved, a new prompt appears confirming that the details have been saved.  Prior to this update, the page simply refreshed with a small message at the top of the screen.  This update improves the overall feel and experience.  
    In addition, on smaller devices the coloring was off on one of the columns and this has been fixed.  

  • Placements Module Forms
    The forms throughout the Placements module have all been updated to make them easier to use and provide a better user experience.  For example, any fields that should be a date now have a "calendar" label.  In addition, HA will provide users with dynamic alerts about activity happening when a user saves a form.


  • The Actions tab has had a minor design update to improve the user experience.  In addition, a new action called "Apply Retainer Balance" is now available that works in conjunction with the new, cross-module feature of Retainers.  The Delete button for placements has been moved to the upper area of the Actions tab, as pointed out in the figure below.  Prior to this update, the Delete Placement required a toggle first to make the button appear.


  • Design Update / User Experience
    The entire Placements module has been updated to provide a better user experience overall and make things much easier to use. The tabs for each placement have been updated -- the MRINetwork tab has been changed to Placement Details and now contains a few other fields that are "details" not found elsewhere in the placement edit form. In addition, other elements of the placements module that were previously partially working or appeared broken have now been fixed, including the Contract Placements feature.

My Dashboard

  • This module has been updated with a few new features.  The Commission Accelerator and Milestone progress bars have been updated so that they'll also display a gray bar like the Pacesetter progress bar.  This gray bar shows where the user is at in progress including any payments that are due in the current calendar year.  Holding your mouse over the gray bar will show where the user is at, should all pending invoices be paid on time.



Admin Portal

  • Auction Module

    • No changes have been made to this module.

  • Commissions Module

    • Some minor improvements have been made to this module to make it more accurate and reliable.  

  • Contests Module

    • No changes have been made to this module.

  • Milestones Feature

    • The functionality of this feature has been updated to bring it in line with other parts of HA.  The information about achieved milestones can now be better sorted and filtered and the user experience was improved overall.

    • This module has been updated similarly to the Milestones feature.  As an older component of HA, the admin configuration of Personal Bests was in need of some user experience improvements.

  • Settings Module

    • Global Settings
      The Hot Sheet Interview Types option has been updated so that admins can now select specific interview types to display on the hot sheet report including offer stage and even user defined types (for PCR clients).  Prior to this update, the only options were send outs or send outs AND resumes presented to the client.  

    • Position Aging Notifications
      The settings for this feature have been located in the Positions email settings tab for several updates now but the actual feature has been non-functional until this version.  With this update, admins can now tell HA how often and when to send out notifications about aging positions and positions without resumes and/or interviews. For all current tenants, this feature is turned off but will be on by default for future tenants.


  • Users Module

    • General User Settings
      The General User Settings area has been completely updated to make it easier to use and bring it up-to-date with other areas of HA.  For example, the User Ratios configuration tab has been changed so that edits to the ratios are made in a modal, much like other configuration areas of HA.  The tab is now used only for sort order.

    • Commission Plans
      The Commission Plans feature has been updated so that admins can now create bonus-based comp plans.  Prior to this update, you could only create traditional commission-based plans.  



Other Updates

  • The PCRecruiter API has been reconfigured so that it is much faster and more reliable.  Prior to this update, a new session ID was requested every time a call was made.  With this update, the session ID is reused until an error is returned that it has expired or been logged out.  This makes the API calls slightly faster and improves the performance of the API.
