This version contains some improvements to specific features based on feedback from our users, "behind-the-scenes" updates and a major overhaul of the My Dashboard area.


Summary

  • The charts in the Summary module were not working properly because of an upgrade to the charts platform in the previous version 2.3.7.  The charts have been fixed for this version and applied prior to the official release of 2.3.8.

My Stats

  • This module received some "under the hood" improvements but the overall user experience hasn't really changed at all.

Chipboard

  • No changes have been made to this module.


Contests

  • No changes have been made to this module.


Reports

  • Activities Report
    This report has been updated so that it can now be used to see daily activities for the selected user(s).  A date picker accordion element has been added to the report, as pointed out in red in the figure below.  In addition, the Group Activities By dropdown has been updated with a Daily option, which is the default.  When this is changed to something other than Daily, the date picker is replaced with a month/year select option, which is what limited the functionality of the previous version of this report.



Companies

  • No changes have been made to this module.

Positions

  • No changes have been made to this module.


Placements

  • Some minor, "under-the-hood" improvements have been made to this module. 
  • Bug fixes have been applied to this module such as an issue with the Position Ingelligence Report validation request not working if the report has never been viewed in the browser.


My Dashboard

  • Major improvements have been made to this module, the newest within HA.  We have made functionality improvements to the Commission/Bonus statement and fixed some bugs that caused the My Dashboard module to load slowly.
  • This module has been slightly redesigned as new features are added.  For example, the Candidates Pending Guarantee card has been moved down next to a brand-new card called Candidates Pending Start Date, as shown in the figure below.  The Pending Start Date card will display candidates who have not yet started and the Pending Guarantee card will show candidates that have started but have not yet met their guarantee.  In addition, click-through functionality has been added to both lists so that users can easily get to the placement, candidate and/or position from the list.

    • Some minor improvements have been made to this module to make it more accurate and reliable.

  • Milestones Feature

    • The functionality of this feature has been updated to bring it in line with other parts of HA.  

  • Personal Bests

    • This module has been updated similarly to the Milestones feature.  As an older component of HA, the admin configuration of Personal Bests was in need of some user experience improvements.

  • Placements Module

    • No changes have been made to this module.

  • Rankings Feature

    • No changes have been made to this module.

  • Record Holders Feature

    • No changes have been made to this module.

  • Reports 

    • No changes have been made to this module.

  • Settings Module

    • Activities
      The Activities Mapping area has been updated to make it easier to find information and make changes.  Prior to this update, this tab was very long and you could not sort the setting options.  To make changes to a particular mapping setting, click the Edit/Pencil icon and make the changes in the modal window.  This update brings this section more in line with other areas of HA.

  • Users Module

    • Teams Feature
      The teams feature has been given a design update to make it look and feel more like other areas of HA.

    • User Goals
      The User Goals tab has been updated with a couple new features. Admins can now copy the user's previous year goals, if available, or admins can copy goals from another user for that user's available goal years, as pointed out in red in the figure below. In addition, a new Number of Weeks field, pointed out in purple, has been added which now allows admins to configure the number of weeks used when calculating the user's weekly goals. Prior to this update, weekly goals were calculated on 52 weeks.

      In addition, the goals fields have been updated so that goals can be entered in any field and they're calculated out to the other fields. For example, you can enter a value in the weekly field and HA will automatically calculate the goal for the month, quarter and year as you type. Prior to this update, admins had to enter a yearly goal and click the "calculate" button to see what the goal was for the quarter, month and week.

Other Updates

  • Crelate API
    With this update, hireanalytiX is officially integrated with the popular ATS Crelate.
  • Navigation
    The navigation and other areas of HA have been updated with new, more dynamic icons.  As we make changes to modules/features these new icons will be replacing the old ones so there will be a mix of the two for a while until the update is completed.
