The Invoice Settings area of the Placements Admin module is where all invoice configuration, with the exception of emails, can be done.  This includes the logo and colors used on the invoice, as these may be different than those configured for HA.

As pointed out in the figure above, this is also where admins can override the invoice number used for all placements.  By default, HA uses the Position ID as the invoice number.  However, turning this setting ON will allow admins to override/change the Invoice Number.

Column Headers

The Column Headers tab has the configuration options for the invoice's line item column headers.

Company Details

The Company Details tab is where admins can configure the global settings for the company information area of the invoice.  The company name is always shown but admins can configure the global defaults for everything else.  These global defaults can be overridden on each placement and once the invoice is validated it will not change.

However, when changes are made to this area, HA will prompt you asking if you would like the changes to apply to ALL placements.

If you click OK, all of the placements will be updated with the new global configuration options. This means that any invoices that have not been validated yet will now use these settings and any validated invoices that are invalidated will now have these settings.

If you click No, the changes will apply only to future placements/invoices and no currently-existing placements will be changed.

If you click Cancel, nothing will be updated and your changes will NOT be saved.

Payment Instructions

The bottom section of the invoice contains the Payment Instructions area.  From this tab, admins can turn this section on/off and also configure what this section contains.  The Payment Instructions Text field provides an HTML editor where admins can design this to look exactly how they would like it to appear on the invoices.

W-9 Form

When invoices are emailed out of HA, admins can include a W-9 form as an attachment to that email.  This tab is where admins can upload a W-9 form in PDF format.  The currently-uploaded form is displayed in the tab, as shown in the figure below.
