We have retired Version 2.2 of hireanalytiX and are pleased to announce the release of Version 2.3! This version comes with some significant improvements in the overall look and feel of the app and it also has several new modules and features.
Leaderboards
- Pacesetter Leaderboard
The design of the Pacesetter Leaderboard has been updated so that the numbers are visible. Prior to this update, the numbers were hiding behind the progress bar. The figure below shows the before and after. In addition, the Pacesetter Goal configured by admins will now be displayed on the leaderboard.
My Stats
- This module has received a behind-the-scenes update to make it work with the new RingCentral API. It was also updated to work with the new global security feature that allows HA to turn parts of the application off on a per-tenant basis.
- The design of the module has been updated to match other parts of HA. Each section now has a header with an icon to elevate the module visually.
- The Annual Goal Progress Report has been updated so that the "weeks remaining" part is now a progress bar like the rest of the section, as pointed out in the figure below. Prior to this update, the weeks remaining was stated in a text style with know indication of the percentage of the year completed.
Chipboard
- The design of the Chipboard has been updated to make it easier to view on a mobile device. This includes adding a horizontal rule between each user's information which also makes it easier to view on larger devices.
Reports
- The Reports Center has been updated behind-the-scenes to make it compatible with our new global permissions platform. This allows us to turn reports on/off on a per-tenant basis.
- Phone Times Report
This report has been updated to work with the new RingCentral API. With this update, you can now see detailed call records for every user. See Phone Times Report for more information. - NEW -- Messaging Report
This is a brand new report that takes advantage of the new RingCentral API. With this report you can review your SMS messages and also listen to voice mail messages. Admins can review messages for all users, however, standard users can only review their own messages. See Messaging Report for more details. - NEW -- Contractors Out & Contract Positions Reports
This update of HA brings us one step closer to being able to fully handle contract placements. The Contractors Out Report is the placement report for contract staffing and the Contract Positions Report provides deeper insight into positions that are specifically marked as contract-based positions. - NEW -- Accounts Payable Report
This report is only viewable by admins but it provides a single place for invoice admins to review the progress of AP. It gives admins the ability to quickly see what invoices have or have not been validated, request validation and even email the invoice without ever leaving the report. Admins no longer need to go to an individual placement to take action on an invoice. - NEW -- Placement Stats Report
This report provides summary statistics on all placements made within the organization. When the report first loads, it displays data based on ALL placements, excluding fall offs. The report filters are located across the top and when clicked they can be changed and the report re-generated. To learn more visit Placement Stats Report. - NEW -- Aggregate Data Reports
These are a set of reports that provide users with aggregate data across the HA platform. All of the data is masked and overview only to protect our tenant's intellectual property. Currently, the report will allow users to see aggregate data based on functional area, locations and timeframe. See Aggregate Data Reports for more details.
Companies (NEW)
This is a brand new module that may have an expanded feature set in the future but it's primary feature is the ability to set company defaults for invoices and the Position Intelligence Report. See Edit Company Settings for more details.
Positions (NEW)
This is another brand new module that provides a similar user experience to the Placements module. This module takes the place of the former Position Details page that would provide a snapshot of the position. From this module, users can review position information and stats, provide split credit to other users and also add Billable Hours, a new feature with this module. Billable Hours provides an interface for tracking the work hours on a specific position on a per-user and per-date basis. These hour can be included on the Position Intelligence Report generated from this module.
See Positions Module for more information.
Placements
- The Placements module has received a slight design improvement and some behind-the-scenes work to make it easier to update and make enhancements. For example, the filter area at the top of the module has been improved so it makes more sense visually.
- The Filter Placements field has been moved to the lower area of the module. Prior to this update, it was in the top section. However, this field was only useful when there were results and could not be used to filter the results. It was determined that moving it to where the results are displayed makes more sense.
- The Action button has been replaced with an Edit icon. Prior to this update, there was a drop-down menu there which allowed admins and users alike to mark a placement as deleted, basically deactivating it. This feature has been removed and will be a part of a future, minor update to Version 2.3 and will only be accessible to tenant admins. Users can no longer mark placements as inactive/deleted.
Admin Dashboard
Users Module
- User Settings
All user-related settings have been moved to the Users area of the Admin Dashboard. This means admins no longer have to leave the users area to change settings related to users. - Effort Score Settings
This area has been updated to allow admins to disable scoring for both bulk emails and phone time. These two metrics have more complex calculators that allow for thresholds and as a result were excluded from the On/Off settings prior to this update. As pointed out in the figure below, both of these metrics can now be turned ON/OFF with a single toggle switch. Turning either of them off will hide the settings options for the metric and configuring those settings can only be done by re-enabling the scoring.
- User Settings
Chipboard Settings
- Chips Mapping
This feature has been enhanced so that admins now have a far greater variety of chip colors to choose from. All of the chip colors have the variations necessary so they can be used on activities that are goaled and activities without goals. Prior to this update, only certain chip colors could be used with activities tied to a goal and there were only about 8 colors to choose from.

Other Updates
- The navigation area has had a style update so that it will now go the full width of the screen. Prior to this update, the navigation menu had a fixed, maximum width, as shown in the figures below. Going forward, the user picture and menu will now float all the way to the right of the visible screen.
- The navigation menu has also been updated to make it more usable on smaller screens and mobile devices, as shown in the figure below. Prior to this update responsive navigation was a separate menu all together and at times did not match the navigation options of large screens. In addition, the menu hovered over the app content. This has been resolved as it is the same menu but styled differently for smaller screens and the content of the app simply floats down below the menu.

- The hireanalytiX global environment has been updated to make adding new clients much easier. As a part of this global update, HA is now a truly modular application. We can now turn certain features and modules on and off based on individual tenant clients. Prior to this update, it was impossible to prevent access to certain areas of HA--it was all or nothing.
