Most of this version's updates are minor changes to help improve the overall ecosystem of HA.  Some of the more noteworthy improvements will be mentioned in the update notes.

Leaderboards

  • Activities Leaderboard
    The activities leaderboard feature has been updated to make it easier to use.  A "go" button has been added to the timeframe and user type selections area.  This makes the Activities Leaderboard more in line with other features of HA.  Prior to this update, a refresh of the data was triggered anytime any of the options were changed which could lead to messy results when trying to change multiple parameters.  Having a go button resolves any issues with this.

    In addition, we have updated the Activities Leaderboard to work in conjunction with the new Admin configuration options such as split credit versus full credit and the ability to turn off the awards feature.

Reports

  • Hot Sheet Report
    The Hot Sheet Report has been given a complete overhaul "under the hood".  As one of the oldest reports in HA, built over time, it had become rather slow.  We rebuilt the framework behind the report and brought the load time down to only a second or two.  Prior to this update, the hot sheet report could sometimes take over 10 seconds to load and some components of the report would fail to load at all.  This has been fixed with Version 2.4.1.

    We have also updated the layout of the hot sheet and made it configurable by admins so that it can display all of the interview activity on the position OR just a single row for each active candidate with a view button to see the history for that candidate.  The arrow in the figure below points to the new Action buttons layout.


    Also, the Remove Candidate button now opens a modal where users or admins can remove candidates from the hot sheet from within HA.  Prior to this update, clicking that button opened a "sub-row" below the candidate.  The modal is an improvement in the UI for this process.


    In addition, the activities summary area has been upgraded to include a week-over-week change.  This will help determine if the person improved over the previous week.

  • The Companies module has been updated so that by default it only loads companies for the current users of HA.  All past users can now be found using the "Inactive Users" option or by selecting all users.  Prior to this update, the companies list was ALL companies from all time that were associated with the positions in HA.

      • The Reports Settings area has been updated to include some new configuration options for the Hot Sheet Report, including whether or not to display all interviews or a condensed list of candidates, as pointed out in red in the figure below.


      • The purple arrows in the figure above point to the Hot Sheet Notes and Remove Candidate from Hot Sheet settings.  These settings allow admins to configure standard users who have access to these more privileged features of the hot sheet.  By default, only Admins can add notes and remove candidates.
      • The orange arrow points to the new Hot Sheet Candidate Order setting.  Prior to this update, the hot sheet was ordered by the interview date and this couldn't be changed.  With this update, users can now click specific columns to sort by them and admins can define a default sort order for the list of candidates.


    • Activities
      • The entire Activities Leaderboard settings functionality has been updated to make it more flexible to tenant preferences.  For example, tenant admins can now turn the AE/PC of the month feature on/off and there is now a setting that allows for the activities leaderboard to NOT take splits into account when awarding points.  

        Prior to this update, the activities leaderboard counted actual metrics when awarding points and the only configuration options were the sort order and user type(s).  With this update, admins can now configure specific job title(s) that can receive the awards and the new UI allows for easier, future updates to this module.
